Each spring, Friends of DGS Northfield launches a direct giving campaign. The fundraising campaign pays for all student excursions and events (except 8th grade Snow Mountain Ranch). Trips like the movie excursion cost over $5,000, but are worth every penny! Last year, the foundation raised $75,000 for student experiences and the goal this year is to raise $80,000. DGS Northfield is happy to use our platform to spread the word of about businesses that give during our direct giving campaign. Businesses that donate $500 or more can place a sign on our fence and have a blurb in our Thursday Folder. Businesses that donate $1,000 or more have the fence sign, Thursday Folder blurb, website link and DGSN Action News Commercial.
